This vintage pen is approx from 1930-1940s I believe but please do your own research to date it. Comes with not the original Waltham nib but a Sheaffer 14K gold nib which says Made in USA too. This goes with the nib feed really well. Writes smoother than my other modern gold nib pen. Writes like a fine-medium. No skips.

It has a small ink holding bladder operated by a small metal plunger like contraption as shown. The only drawback is that it holds a small amount of ink so I usually wet through 3 page sides (A4 sized) of essay before it ran out. So it’s best used on a desk with a bottle of ink handy. If you don’t mind that it had no leak. I have cleaned out the nib and feed.

It even has a small ink window too as shown in one of the photos using flash light. The plastic, over almost 90 years, has understandably discoloured. There is also tarnishing to the metal trimmings. But the nib must be newer as it shines like its new!
