Up for auction is a very nice playing Bach 42 BO. I removed dents along the edge of the bell, replaced the hand slide crook with a nickel silver after-market crook, aligned the slide and replaced a missing screw from the rotor stop plate. Also replaced the neoprene stops and the f tuning slide. Comes with a Bach hard case. It is one with the zipper closing system, but the zipper was broken so I added two latches so the case is fully functional and stays closed securely. This horn plays great!. I wish I could keep it, but I could use the money and can only play one instrument at a time so I will keep playing my Shires. There are a couple of dings on the f section tubing that were put there by a previous owner. Despite that the horn has a very open sound on the f side. This is the most open of any Bach I have ever played. Low C just pops out. This horn plays great and would be a reasonably priced option for an advancing student, pro player or any other trombone enthusiast. Don't hesitate to ask any questions or ask for more pics.
