Clint Eastwood - Hang Em High - CUSTOM - MARX - Johnny West - 1/6 Scale - 12"

This was the only custom Clint Eastwood Marx Johnny West figure that I hadn't made. I'm picky and a bit of a perfectionist and I couldn't figure out how to make a custom version from this iconic movie with the parts available that I thought would do it justice. There are minor changes, but I think or I hope I did it justice. More importantly I hope you agree.

The body is made from a beautiful new black Johnny West Recast. So it's solid! But I didn't want to leave it all black. I've seen the movie at least a dozen times and the black shirt and matching black pants fade and get dusty and so I used an enamel weathered black paint for the shirt and a slight softer less glossy oil based paint for the pants. The belt is another shade of black with a silver buckle and brown boots that give them a slightly leathered brown shade. The head is a resin Redman Clint Eastwood head usually used for Dirty Harry, but I never considered it for Hang Em High and I think it works perfectly with the clean shave face and the messed up hair that looks great under the hat. I modified the neck on the head so that it would work on a Johnny West body. I got the hat from a friend and I hate to let it go because I'm not sure if I'll be able to get another. The hat isn't the exact style and color as worn in the move, but when it's on his head I think it works perfectly. The scarf is a plastic tube made to look like a scarf. The sheriff star is silver metal with a tack like back that pierced the body slightly. I debated gluing it, but I think this figure will always be Hang Em High and the tiny hole can be painted over if someone wants to change the figures. He's wearing a painted Marx Johnny West gunbelt that I painted slightly to give it a weathered leather look and I painted the bullets and belt buckle gold for more detail. The gun is a painted Marx Johnny West revolver. He also has two Johnny West spurs with the stars painted silver. In my opinion, he's beautiful. I put a lot of work trying to make him the best I could. I don't have any other Eastwood style hats so I may not be able to make another one for awhile. So this is a must have for the Johnny West Eastwood fan that has everything else! A great 1/6 western figure for your collection.

I use oil based paints and paint in layers so it's less likely to peel, flake, or gunk up at joints. I've sold a lot and have never had one returned, but I do my best so the figure looks great and so you are happy. Your satisfaction is my priority and if you are not satisfied when you receive the item, let me know in the first 7 days after you receive it and you have 14 days to return it. Just package it up and return it the way you received it. I use a lot of bubble wrap and a box big enough so the figure will arrive safely and have a comfortable trip. As I mentioned, I've never had a figure returned or a buyer in happy with my customs and figures. But, if you're not happy let me know instead of leaving Negative Feedback. Every figure is different and each requires a different amount of time, parts, and paints. I do my best, but I want you to be happy and if you're not, don't worry. Just let me know and we will work out a return.

I will message you after your item ships and I'll upload the tracking information. If you wouldn't mind, please message me when your item arrives so I'll know it arrived safely and that you're happy with the purchase. Or, it would be great if you leave Positive Feedback and once I know you're happy I will leave Positive Feedback for you and hope to have the pleasure of dealing with you again.

if you have any questions please don't hesitate to message me. And check out my other listings and check back. I'm hoping to add at least 7 new figures in the days ahead. In some cases I'm just waiting on a couple parts. But there should be a few more in the next couple days.

All my figures are hand painted with oil based paints and put together by me. I try to describe to the best of my ability and pictures help with the description. Please ask if you have any questions. Buyer satisfaction is my priority and I'm grateful to everyone that has bought one or more of my figures. And it's especially gratifying when they come back to by more.

I ship USPS Priority. I am a bit over protective and I use a lot of bubble wrap for each figure and I use secure boxes stuffed with packing materials because I want to take every step possible to assure that your figure or figures get to you safely. I know the feeling of waiting anxiously for a figure to arrive and when it arrives it's cracked or broken and often the seller didn't use any packing material, or very little. That will never happen with me. It may cost a bit more because I ship USPS Priority, but knock on plastic, I've never had a buyer receive a broken item. And I don't want to start now.

I put a lot of time into each figure and often I spend quite a bit on heads, nice bodies and accessories. Because of this, I can't always budge on the price because many times, especially on certain figures, I'm really not making much. I want to give the best deal I can, and I'm sorry that some of my figures cost a little more than other customs, but I'm doing the best I can making something that I hope you'll be happy with.
