Kindly see the photos —front, back, and certificate — to view this stamp. It is fresh and bright, is beautifully centered with 4 large margins, has rich color - the brown carmine variety, has a very light cancellation, and, is in fine used condition. The 2015 Scott catalog value is $1,100.00.    

The certificate provided with this stamp is a permanent record as to the identification and authenticity of this stamp, and applies only to this one stamp. The notation on the  certificate states "it is genuine used, with faults."   Most stamps of this era have defects of some type. Due to the scarcity of these stamps, and their value, they are collected despite the defects, and the value of the stamp varies depending upon the seriousness of the defect.  


This stamp has premium centering, and although the 'faults' diminish its value - back thins (not visible from the front), they are minor when compared to the premium centering of this scarce color variety, and has been factored into the price. It is suggested that you enlarge the photos for a thorough examination and therefore offer this stamp with the assurance that you must be completely satisfied.
