The legend of Camel and Emperor Genghis Khan

Camel hair, particularly white camel hair, has big connection with a great man, a great national hero, Mongolian holy Emperor Genghis Khan.

Genghis Khan had two forces who are riding white camels. These two forces were invincible, and helped him to establish the Mongol empire imperial country. So they were called "white god force". They won the respect from Mongolian people to white camels and its forces. Then white camels are taken as the symbol of the soul of Mongol army, holy and majesty.

There is a wisp of camel hair in Genghis Khan's silver coffin. When he was in coma state, minsters put a wisp of camel hair beside his nose. When white camel hair was no longer flying, then ministers thought the emperor had gone to heaven. So the wisp of white camel hair was taken as the symbol of emperor's symbol, a holy thing, and be kept in the silver coffin. When people go to Genghis khan's tomb to worship him, they can see this wisp of holy camel hair.

In the year of1935, DaLaTeQi dug out a small iron box under the earth, and found an old yellow Mongolia document, which was General BaDou's diary of Yuan dynasty. The diary says, Genghis Khan died suddenly in his journey. Ministers put his body, clothes, hat and sword into a box, and let the white camel hair he was riding when he was alive, pull the box in the desert. After walking for 47 days, they came to a place, where the white camel would no longer walk. No matter how people to pull, or how to cast, white camel still stood there and no longer moved. Ministers then thought this should be the place where Genghis Khan should be buried. After burying, ministers let horses run on the place. Then the second day, a rain came and the grasses grew up in the place. It became same with other places. So nobody knew where Genghis Khan was buried.
