Unapologetically 3D Printed

If not for 3D printing, the products you are looking at probably wouldn’t exist or would cost a lot more.

3D printing allows us to create innovative, one of a kind products that you won't see in stores.

Injection moulding is great for making millions of simple items, but it is very expensive for small quantities of complicated things like this.

One consideration of 3D printing is that the surface finish is different from injection moulded parts. Since parts are made one layer at a time, it has some distinct features:

  • Layer lines – parts are printed one layer at a time so a fine grain can be seen

  • Steps – on slanted surfaces the surface won't be completely smooth

  • Nozzle lines – on flat top surfaces slight lines will be visble where each pass of the nozzle joins
