They have been "loved" and have some life left to them.
Last year, I did an Ebay fundraiser and it was super successful! Yes, it took up a lot of my time and energy and my house turned into a small store and shipping center but it was all for a great cause, it made many hearts feel good as well as allowed seven children/teens from low income families to experience an awesome camp for kids with epileptic seizure disorder. Since I am a widowed single mom and far from being wealthy (money-wise), this is a fabulous way for me to earn money for charitable causes close to my heart. With many of the donated goods still remaining and plenty of new items I’ve acquired, I’ve decided to open my little “store” up again. This time, 50% of the proceeds (after Ebay fees and PP fees) will be donated to two charities close to my heart. The remaining 50% will be used to offset the cost of the item (if applicable), shipping materials and printing cartridges, etc.
My husband passed away years ago from Glioblastoma Multiforme
(Stage 4 Brain Cancer). I will be donating to the National Brain Tumor Society,
specifically for their Defeat GBM
Research Collaborative.
My son was diagnosed with Epilepsy
four years ago. I will be donating to a
local epilepsy foundation, specifically for their Education program for
Classrooms.
