Original Vintage 1950s /1960s French Deep Open Bottom Girdle OCCULTA ** FIRM CONTROL ** - with 2 bones, offset front zip over 8 hook and eyes, lined by a soft velvet material for comfort. The other side of this front has lacing for a firm fit. However what makes this unique in my eyes is that on each side it has two wide heavy duty fabric bands with 3 positions to anchor a wide elasticated band. This controls the firmness of hold around the hips. There is an additional narrow band on each side with associated 3 position anchorage, so the firmness at the waist can easily be controlled. The back seems to have a lambswool backing for comfort. This one really means business! NEW OLD STOCK This came from a old lingerie store in Lille, France, and still have the original shop hang tag. This appears in great condition - I could not find any significant storage marks. The garters are the vintage metal, with rubber garter tabs; garter length is adjustable via the matching buttons on the lower hem. (Garters have never been buttoned on, so are supplied in their original bag). The rubber has hardened, so I am supplying a set of metal/rubber clips which you can substitute when you wear this baby unstretched measures 26" waist (28" stretched + extra 1-2" available once the lacing has been loosened.) ; 32" hips (37" stretched) Depth: Front 12"; Back 14" Label indicates it is made from (translated) "Special material for medical purposes"!
