Feverfew is an aromatic herbal plant.
Small daisy-like flowers are accompanied by attractive strongly scented foliage.
It is thought to have herbal properties but not, as was originally thought, to relieve fevers.
However it has been shown to have some medicinal properties in other areas and is used in herbal preparations for headaches.
Easy to grow will self-seed when established.
Can be grown as an annual with early sowing.

GERMINATION - Germination is affected by such factors as temperature, moisture content, light intensity and contamination of planting media. Although we do everything possible to get seeds to you in the best possible condition these factors are totally outside of our control and once you receive the seeds its over to you. Consequently, we can take no responsibility for the suitability to your local conditions of any variety offered, the indicative cultivation advice provided or ultimately the varieties performance. As such you should seek local advice to carefully ensure your local conditions and the time of season are appropriate to the variety purchased. Many plants will germinate better with the help of Ga3 which is widely available on Ebay and elsewhere.
DORMANCY - Many tree, shrub and conifer seeds and some perennial seeds have a natural period of dormancy. This is a natural process which ensures the seeds do not germinate till conditions suit, usually in the spring. The natural dormancy of the seed can be broken by a period of stratification. This will be explained in the instructions supplied with the seed. This may require some patience but you will be rewarded with lots of plants at minimal cost. It is possible to create a box, yew or beech hedge for just a few pounds!
