National Model NC-300 Vintage HF Ham Radio Tube Receiver SN 434-1197
This radio is in pretty good condition for its age showing some wear. The biggest issue is that the bezel that is supposed to go on the left side of the faceplate is missing. Aside from some other areas of scuffs, scratches, and marks, the radio still looks quite nice overall! We are including a note from a previous owner about a modification that may have been done on the radio.
This item has been tested by our technician, a ham radio operator of more than 55 years. Here's what he had to say: "Tested with RF generator and loop antenna for signal strength. The band turrent works, the meter works, the panel lamps work, and all front panel controls work as well! Please note that this radio does not have the XCU-300 crystal calibrator installed". Please realize that this is a vintage piece of equipment, and unless specifically noted above, it has not been fully restored with new components. It will inevitably need maintenance, however it's impossible to know whether that will be next week or a few years down the road.
