For conversion we used SPECTROSIL 2000 UV-VIS-IR Broadband MC AR double side coated fused silica window! NO ONE ELSE CAN DO THIS!

This camera comes with Original box, Sony battery, charger paperwork, usb cable you see on photos.

Camera has signs of use and some paint lose. LCD is in close to perfect condition. 100% functional

About this camera

This is full spectrum converted Sony A7M2 camera. Here what has been done

1. Hot mirror (bluish piece of glass) was removed so full spectrum of light can rich the camera sensor.
2. Double Side Anti-Reflective coated window has been installed to compensate for removed IR-Cut filter and to protect sensor.
3. Camera can perfectly focus on all range of distances like the unchanged camera.
4. Camera retained (it has not been removed like others do) sensor cleaning system.

How modifications affected this camera?

• Inside buildings with custom white balance it will be pretty much same picture as there in not much IR light inside the buildings.
• Outside you will have reddish hue as with any modified camera. So it is good idea to use filters outside. But that is completely up to you.

SENSOR CLEANING SYSTEM

As you can see this camera has absolutely unique feature such as Ultrasonic sensor cleaning system retention. Unlike ANY OTHER conversion service providers we can retain sensor cleaning feature on most of our converted cameras! Here is an example of Nikon D3200. Please see listing photos for pictures of this particular Sony camera.

I use HIGHEST QUALITY clear window with double side Anti-reflective coating for Full Spectrum conversion. It makes clear pass window practially invisible! Screw is on the window so you can see it is there!

OPTIONAL ADDITIONS (EXTRAS) TO CHOOSE FROM

1. Add Sapphire window (0001) orientation for Full Spectrum conversion for $99
2. Add Ultrasonic Cleaning Transducer retention option for $49. This is for select Samsung, Nikon and Canon cameras only. Please ask for details. I have separate listings for all these features.

This will allow you to have Ultrasonic sensor cleaning system after conversion. I will separate transducer just like you see on the picture here and will fuse it with clear window or IR filter.

Please note:

1. All these options are optional. Without them you will get Full Spectrum converted camera with clear path to the sensor.
2. On Olympus micro 4/3 series cameras sensor cleaning system will be naturally retained. There is nothing to pay for it! This is true for my conversions. I can not guarantee that other places will keep this function.

Option to Keep Ultrasonic Sensor Cleaning system.

This Option is NOT for Olympus E-Pxx series cameras. They Will retain sensor cleaning system with my conversions.

Which conversion to choose:

Camera body As you know I offer full range of conversions from UV, VIS, IR to Full Spectrum. We will discuss them in details.

1. UV converted camera. This camera see only UV part of the spectrum. Which bandwidth to pass determined by the filters installed. Usual filters are U330, U340 and U360. Please see examples below.
2. IR converted camera. This conversion allows camera sensor to see only IR part of the spectrum. Which part of the spectrum to rich the sensor will be determined by filter installed. These filters are 650nm, 750nm, 850 and everything in between. See examples below.
3. Full spectrum. This is the only conversion which allows your camera sensor to see full range of light it can register. Usually it is somewhere from 250nm (UV) to 1000nm (IR). Visible part of the spectrum is somewhere between 380nm to 680-700nm. Advantage of full spectrum conversion is in flexibility. You can use any filter you like, simply screw it on the lens. This way you can have UV, Visible and IR camera all in one.

Different types of filters

With your Full Spectrum converted cameras you can use IR, UV and IR Cut filters.

Please pay attention that what is called UV filter on Ebay is not quite what you need. You need UV short pass filters. Most of them are marked U330, U340 and U360. Visually they are black and you can not see thru. These filters are pretty expensive and run from $50 and more.

IR filters are pretty cheap and you can buy them for less then $10 on Ebay.

We can Fix Cameras Some Conversion Service Provides Screwup

This Canon EOS 5D II (not the cheapest camera out there) we got from local camera store. The customer ordered conversion on internet at well known conversion service provider. Once customer got the camera the issue with the dust was aparent. Conversion service provider was ignoring customer's calls.

So we took camera apart to clean it and fix it. Please take a look at the IR filter! Quite honestly I do not know how one can cut glass this way! It is all chipped! Underneath of the glass there was a lot of glass chips most likely from original IR Cut filter removed by conversion service provider. It became aparent under low angle illumination.
