Replacement T5/T5.1 & T6 Transporter and Caravelle tailgate threshold cover.
Like the rear bumper of these vans, the threshold covers (if your van even has one to begin with) tend to be subject to scuffs and scrapes from lifting items in and out. This can obviously look very unsightly as demonstrated in the photos.
Our aftermarket replacement tailgate threshold cover is not only constructed from high quality plastic but is also the full width of the tailgate meaning it does an even greater job than the original at tidying up the interior of your van. Complete with polystyrene insert, these covers are almost indistinguishable from the genuine VW part, and come at a fraction of the price.
Installation is quick and simple using a series of existing holes (also pictured) to screw the threshold cover down to. Depending on whether your van has previously had a threshold cover installed, you may have to provide screws for fitting.
Our covers are also ever so slightly raised towards the rear to accommodate any ply lining or floor your van may already have. This makes for a flush fitting cover meaning you are less likely to catch the plastic when sliding items in and out of the vehicle.
