THIS VIDEO PRESENTATION WITH TAROGATO ( YouTube ):

I sell an old Tarogato Bb ( holz /wood), used only in traditional music, but can be used in jazz and contemporany music. Unfortunately, these instruments are very rare.
To get a more realistic view of this tarogato I posted a video on youtube. The link is attached above.
I am clarinetist, I don't play on tarogato but, as seen in the video, I can manage to play the tarogato.
The blow difference to clarinet is that the lip should be very flexible, as oboe, especially for lower sounds, on tarogato. I recommend weacker reeds, 2.5.
Tarogato versus clarinet don´t have stable sounds, thus the player`s lip must be flexibile. This tarogato, because it is old and unused, needs, normal, a general repair. Wood has wear places. At the top is a repaired crack. Pads are worn and therefore the last notes down do not respond very well. Mouthpiece is for clarinet, but converted for tarogato and filled, for more powerful sound, with a white material called Poxilina ( the majority musicians of traditional music, use „poxilina” to mouthpieces, for a more powerful sound ). Fingerings are different from clarinet. This tarogato is not returnable.
