Here we have a photo of William Ashley "Billy" Sunday. Billy Sunday was an early, professional, Baseball player. His career stretched 8 years and he was included on the rosters of the Chicago White Stockings, Pittsburgh Alleghenys and the Philadelphia Phillies. After his baseball career, Sunday became one of the most prominent, conservative, evangelicals of his era. Our original image dated from 1913, by Stearns, Wildermuth and Stearns, although this is a high quality reprint for collectors.
