In 1999 Tomoyuki Fukushi has launched a  handmade lures brand called FUKUSHI LURES in Chitose, Hokkaido. The minnows  and topwater lures "FUKUZEMI" that he created fast became widely known for  their great design and high performance in catching a lot of species of big  fish. 

In 2009 the company D-3 Custom Lures was established.
Smart individual design and coloring as well as great innovative ideas help  D-3 Custom Lures to excel. Although, D-3 CUSTOM is just a small  Hokkaido-based maker, their lures have caught a lot of trout and are far  famed and extremely popular among domestic anglers.
