This amplifier is in good condition showing some wear. There are scuffs, scratches, and marks on the cabinet, but overall the amplifier still appears clean. We are including 3x 811A tubes that will be shipped separately via USPS for their protection. Unfortunately the amplifier has an issue so we must sell it AS-IS for parts or restoration. Please read our technician's notes below.
This item has been tested by our technician, a ham radio operator of more than 55 years. Here's what he had to say: "Tested with 45 watts input on each band. I was able to achieve the following power output key down (no ALC set-up): 160 meters - 360 watts, 80 meters - 375 watts, 40 meters - 365 watts, 20 meters - no output!, 15 meters - no output!. Plate voltage is 1800 VDC no load. The power output is lower than expected on all bands, and there is no output on 20 or 15 meters. The amplifier is in need of servicing!" If you have any questions about this equipment before or after purchasing, our tech will be happy to assist you.
This item was recently removed from an active and operational ham station, and is expected to be fully operational. If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, we'll gladly allow you to ship it back for a full refund… we'll even pay for the return postage!
