Up for sale without reserve is a beautiful OVERSIZED (36mm) Rolex ref. 9083 aka Rolex UFO (due to its unique shape) from 1956! This watch comes directly from the original owner who had it serviced in July 2017 by Ben Bridge Jewelers.

This particular watch could not be a finer example! It is an amazingly rare watch in superb original condition.

Although the pictures are considered the most important component of this auction listing,
please do note the following IMPORTANT observations:

DIAL & Hands: The dial is 100% original and has the highly desirable and rare honeycomb finish. The dial has no apparent deterioration and has taken on a slightly yellow/eggshell color patina that adds to the vintage allure of the watch. The hands appear to be in near perfect condition and are also original!

Case & Case Back: The case has clearly never been polished. I have not opened the watch since the watch has recently been serviced. The serial number (258272) appears clearly as does the Rolex logo on the outside of the case back. I have not tested the case to determine if it is water tight.

Movement: The watch appears to be running strong and was serviced recently in July 2017.

Crystal: Original Rolex crystal

Bracelet: The original Swiss riveted bracelet is just as exciting to me as the watch. It was made by GAY FRERES for Rolex and is dated '56' on the clasp. It is the same exact bracelet used on other Rolex sport models such as the GMT 6542 and Submariner 6538 6200 and 6536. The only difference is the end links which can be sourced and added to make this bracelet work on any of the aforementioned models. The bracelet is superb condition and clearly has never been restored or polished! There are 12 links.
