Please check the BETA standard that you require with any relevant organisation to make sure this is suitable for your intended purpose as I know you can no longer compete in British Eventing as from Jan 1st 2018 with these now since the introduction of the new BETA 2009 standard. However this is brand new therefore not suffered any falls or damage so the level of protection is unaffected which was the main reason for introducing the new 09 standard in order to phase out "older" models which may have suffered damage/ wear & tear etc over the years therefore perhaps being questionable as to their safety. Last photo is a screenshot of the details I found about body protectors on BETA's current website though.

Conforms to EN13158:2000

Level 3 which is the highest level of protection and is considered appropriate for normal horse riding, competitions and for working with horses.

Most riding organisations will accept garments conforming to Level 3, but purchasers should contact the relevant Riding organisation if in doubt.

Certified with The British Equestrian Trade Association
