One afternoon, our son wanted to watch a movie.
My wife told him to press the
Netflix button on the TV remote.
Turns out the wifi was not working as
great as it should work for streaming.
Surely we can all relate?
Having Netflix so long, we forgot to replace
our DVD Player after it broke a few months back.
The only video player we had in the house (stored in the attic)
was our old Video Home System (VHS).
After tumbling through some boxes we managed
to retrieve and hook up the VHS.
Our son's face was priceless...for all we knew
he may have thought it was a kitchen appliance.
We popped in the Toy Story cassette tape and
of course we forgot to rewind the movie after the last viewing.
Our son got a kick out of the rewind feature (I can't believe I just listed a VHS feature).
He sat there patiently waiting for the movie to
rewind in what had to be slower than 2X speed.
We decided to step into the kitchen as the movie was rewinding.
To our surprise...
our son had already started the movie on his own.
In fact, he was about 7 minutes into the movie
by the time we returned to the living room!
Once the movie finished, we realized the wifi was up and running again.
We tried to switch our son over to Netflix, but instead he just
wanted to sit down and watch another movie on VHS.
We gladly popped in what he wanted...he chose The Lion King!
