Offered for bids: Montblanc 342 fountain pen, in user grade condition (due to the deterioration of the snow cap Montblanc logo on the cap finial.

Condition details: The Montblanc "snowcap logo" on the cap finial has all but worn off, as shown in the photos. The pen has light micro-scratching not affecting appearance without magnification. Some visible scratches exist on the surface of the gold plated pocket clip. Otherwise, the pen appears to have been gently used and carefully stored.
Production Years: Late 1950's to early 1960's.
Special features: Light and well balanced; smooth and wet writing flexible nib producing expressive stylized writing (see the last photo).
Filling System: Piston filling system, working perfectly. See the photos for a closeup of the nylon piston positioned in the ink view window.
Nib: Broad italic flexible stainless steel.
