I don't get too many Mido watches and I believe this is the first SOLID 14k gold one I have had in my nearly 30 years of watch collecting. This one is also larger than most Mido watches that I have seen. Dates back to the early 1960's. The SIGNED case measures 35.1 mm wide not including the recessed crown. The crown is dimpled in the center. Has 5/8 inch lug spacing. Has nice beefy lugs and this is a solid heavy gold case. The SIGNED dial appears to be original. Has really cool fan like hour markers at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock markers. Has small square gold applied hour markers at the other position. The gold sword hands are matching and has a gold center sweep second hand. The crystal is clean but not perfect. The screw-off case back has one tool scratch. The SIGNED movement is a full rotor 17 jewel Cal 917P Swiss made. This watch runs but stops and will need to be serviced. I have seen this watch run for minutes but I believe a clean and oil service will be needed to get it to be a good running watch again. Sold as-is. There is a clean used brown leather strap attached. This is a very cool Mido Superautomatic Multifort Powerwind watch in SOLID 14k gold!!! I have no service records to offer for this 50+ year old Mido watch and am selling it as-is and as found.
