I have been collecting vintage watches for close to 30 years and I believe this is only the second Audermars Piguet Geneve watch I have had. Audermars is one of the most prestigious watchmaker brands out there. Right up with the Patek and Vacheron watch brands. This Audermars is an unusual oval shaped 18 k gold watch. The case measures 27.8 mm wide not including the crown and is 37.0 mm long. Has an open sleeve back where the leather strap slides into the gold case back. The dark brown leather strap appears to be original and has a SIGNED 18k gold buckle. The tongue on the buckle seems to be slightly bent. The case back is free of any engraving. The SIGNED dial is all original and has interesting round blue hour markers with gold outer frames. This is a formal two handed watch and has thin gold hands. The crystal is clean. This Audermars Piguet is Swiss mechanical manual wind watch and is running. I have made no attempt to open this watch. I can tell you it runs extremely quietly. In my nearly 30 years of collecting vintage watches I have found that the highest quality watches are almost silent when they are running. This watch is about as quiet of a mechanical watch I have ever had. While this AP Swiss watch is running I am selling it as-is and as found. I have no service records to offer.
