We are offering with a " BUY IT NOW"  a Professor PAUL GEISSLER Hand Painted Etching. This etching is named "KLINGENTOR" and is from the Ernst Geissendorfer Studio! The Klingentor is in Rothenbur Tauber Germany and is a popular tourist site.  This is one of three etchings that we purchased from an estate sale.  We will be listing 1 other besides this one by this etcher.

Professor Geissler was a German Painter & Etcher of renown who died in 1965.  He was commissioned to do works by many international heads of states during his lifetime.  While in the U.S. he did etchings of buildings in New York and the Betsy Ross House to name a couple.  He and Ernst Geissendorfer were close.

This Etching is in Excellent Collectible Condition.  It appears to be in its original Frame & Matting.  It is hand signed in Pencil by the Etcher along with the name of the Etching.  The back has a small card with his name and address of the Gallery, with the particulars of the etching, along with verification of it being an original etching.

We will only refund money if we have grossly misrepresented the item. We describe each item to the best of our ability. As these are Vintage/Antique Items, some flaws are to be expected and we can not describe each and every one. Rest assured, we will mention any major chips, nicks, cracks, dents, rips, stains that we find etc. that would affect the value of the item. 

We will only reimburse the cost of the item, not shipping. We must be contacted within 14  days of delivery of the item of a problem for a refund. We do not run a business and do this as a hobby.  We feel this is a generous time frame to ask for a return if you encounter a problem that you feel was our error.  Most problems can be resolved by mutual agreement, so please contact us before leaving any negative feedback so we can resolve any issues. The item must be received from the bidder in the same condition it was sent. The Bidder is responsible for return shipping.


PLEASE NOTE: POSTAGE IS CALCULATED BY THE OUTSIDE DIMENSIONS OF THE BOX, THE WEIGHT, AND THE DISTANCE FROM WHERE WE LIVE TO YOU. SINCE THE POST OFFICE HAS GONE TO THE ZONAL SYSTEM AND WE LIVE IN THE MIDWEST THOSE WHO LIVE ON EITHER COAST HAVE FOUND THE COSTS OF SHIPPING BY PRIORITY MAIL TO HAVE BECOME VERY COSTLY. THAT IS WHY WE HAVE OFFERED BOTH UPS GROUND AND PARCEL POST AS OTHER SHIPPING OPTIONS. PLEASE BE SURE AND CHECK THE COSTS FOR THOSE ALSO.

We offer USPS Priority Mail, Parcel Post and if weight allows First Class Mail and UPS on US Shipments. 

We do not inflate shipping charges and often pay for extra shipping costs ourselves.  We use both new and recycled shipping materials for the health of the environment.  Please use the shipping calculator for shipping costs on packages that do not have a flat rate. 

And lastly, please remember when leaving feedback, we are not responsible for how long it takes the Post Office or UPS to get the package to you. Only how long it takes us to get it out to them.
