Supporting XT60 and XT30 plugs and a range of lipos from 2s to 6s this lipo discharger will safely put your fully charged batteries into storage after a session or kill a damaged lipo ready for disposal.
This lithium battery discharger has two working modes and can measure and display the battery voltage with a built-in LED discharge indicator.
Mode 1:
The default is 3.8V discharge mode, which discharges the intact lithium battery to 3.8V for long-term storage, so that the lithium battery will not be damaged.
Mode 2:
If the 2P jumper cap is plugged in, the discharger will enter the 0V discharge mode, which is used to scrap the battery.
Note:
*We highly recommend to not leave charging or discharging lipo batteries unattended.
**Wherever possible discharging of lipos should be done safely outdoors and in a suitable container to avoid risks.
***There is a lack of technical information about this product from the manufacturer but one of our brilliant customers have supplied us with the following information:
"The unit uses a resistive load to discharge so the higher the cell count the more current is drawn, on a 6s pack the current draw to storage is about 60ma, when 0v is selected it draws approximately 100ma so that equates to 30 hours to completely discharge a 3000mah pack."
