Here we have a poster issued during World War II of the five Sullivan Brothers. When originally distributed, there were a two versions of this poster with the difference being the distance of the stars above the brother's heads. This is the "short version". The five brothers, from Waterloo Iowa, were lost on the U.S.S. Juneau during fighting off the Solomon Islands in 1942. From left to right are: Joseph, Francis, Albert, Madison and George Sullivan. True heros and real history that, unfortunately, many folks don't even know. Our posters are shipped in sturdy mailing tubes, fully insured!

We also carry a different version of this poster which you can find by clicking here.

This poster is printed on heavy, 230 gsm (10 pt cover), premium matte art paper. Posters are centered on full sized paper to accommodate readily available frames or custom matting. The image size refers specifically to the artwork itself, not the size of the paper it is printed on. Therefore, the paper size is always larger than the image size.  All posters have a minimum 1/4" white border.
