Irish Nationalists William O'Mera Allen, Michael Larkin, and William Goold (aka O'Brien) were hanged in Manchester, England on November 23, 1867 for the murder of a policeman which occured during an attempted prison break of nationalists uprising leaders Colonel Thomas J. Kelly and Captain Timothy Deasy. The original print was published in 1869 by Thomas Kelly of New York. Features a short poem by Smith O'Brien at the bottom.
