From the Rare Series of Twelve "Spirit of the Flowers".
Here is "Wild Rose", flower fairy in a 6" square tile.

In Great Antique Condition!
Nice and shiny!
The tile is block printed in Brown on a Cream body .
 Has edge wear and some crazing under the fine glossy glaze as shown.
This tile had been set in the past.

The complete Set of Twelve tiles were designed circa 1880.
It is Minton pattern No. 1347 which, as Austwick states, has been variously attributed to John Moyr Smith, C.O. Murray or possibly Robert Edis.
* A note in the V&A Archive attributes this series to C.O.Murray.
Regardless of whoever designed the series, it is a terrific piece of the aesthetic movement.
