**Welcome to Tone Man Guitar**
Tone Man Guitar prewired kits will improve your guitars performance. Notes are tighter, open and with more clarity. Tone / volume controls are responsive and smoother. Kits are hand built wired with quality and pride like they did back in the 50s and 60s.
Our Blues ES175 series uses the better Paper-In-Oil K42Y aged tone caps giving excellent clean clarity with vintage woody blues tones. It is easy to dial in some nice grit tone with your guitar and amp controls. Good for all genres of music and all type of pickups. Best choice for P90s. Great for rock and blues.
This harness is a full replacement for any Gibson or Epiphone ES175, ES295 and other full holly body guitar styles with longer switch wire run in upper or lower body next to neck. Must not have any wood bracing between the two f holes that will obstruct the 3 way switch from being fed through. Check layout measurements below. Other similar models are ES275, ES350T, ES125TD, Epi Broadway. Be sure and compare component distance measurements and f hole size to compare to your guitar.
Template component measurements center to center:
Volume to Volume 2.5" Switch to Neck Volume 15"
Tone to Tone 2.5" Switch to Jack 20"
Volume to Tone 2.5"
We add an additional 1/2 to 1 inch extra wire run between components for installation flexibility.
Wiring harness is feed thru the f holes and requires opening in the widest part of the f hole no less than 1 - 1/8 inch to be able to feed the harness into the hollow body.
What's In The Blues Kit:
I personally prefer Bourns potentiometers over all other brands including CTS. I have found them to be smoother, responsive and longer lasting. The very best taper available. These pots are 18 teeth coarse spline shaft so USA type knobs will not fit without first pinching the top of the split shaft together a little and slowly push the knob on. Epiphone and off shore type will fit fine. We do offer a line of knobs that fit.

If you have an imported / outside of USA manufactured guitar you may need to modify the potentiometer holes to 3/8 inch to accommodate the full size Bourns pots. Your installation instructions will cover this. If you have questions feel free to email me.
Although these harnesses are pre-assembled and tested they do require some soldering to connect the pickups and the output jack. A 25 – 40 watt soldering iron is recommended. Make sure you are comfortable with making these connections or we suggest you take this to a qualified guitar tech to complete the installation. I can not be responsible if you damage a unit.
Each harness is custom built after purchase so my lead time to build your harness before shipping is 5 to 8 business days. In stock means I have the parts to build. You will receive a notice with USPS tracking number once shipped.
Cheers,
