Exquisite Low Table with a 19th century Chinese Panel Insert. We believe the panel to depict the Imperial Court of Emperor Wen of Sui, 541-604 founder of the Sui Dynasty. The Emperor is holding court in a pavillion while members of the court, women, children and entertainers surround him. There is Chinese writing on the back of the panel. We have not had this translated. This piece has been in my family for over half a century and as dealers is only now being offered for sale. 

The size of the low table is 44.25 inches long, 17 inches wide, and 15 inches high. PERFECT COFFEE TABLE!!!!
