This is a very rare set of Benjamin Franklin bookends from the Franklin Mint, dated 1987. They are signed on the back by the artist, but I can't decipher the name. They are silver tone and in superb condition but I do not know the metal type. Each one weighs 3.75 lbs; they are 7.5" tall and are mounted on a 6" x 4.25" rectangular base.
