You are purchasing a Antique Tea Set Porcelain Victorian Childs Miniature Gold Trim In Case Germany. Either from the late 1800s or the very early 1900s. Its in the original display case box where the pieces were originally glued down to the bottom one piece the sugar bowl still is. The markings I can find are on the saucers, they have a 0/1 which looks like a german marking to me. Not sure of the maker because there is nothing else but those markings to give me a clue. It looks hand painted it is blue floral with gold trim. The box is made of wood, what looks like an oil cloth cover on the wood, the inner is a very thick blue fabric, and it has a brass ornate latch closure. There is also faint gold decor that looks like filigree on the outer box its very faint. It is a displayable set its old fragile and has some flaws.

8 pieces of porcelain not including the tea pot lid, I have no clue if its missing any pieces since I do not know who the maker is I can not really research it. Its miniature in size the pieces range from .50" to the biggest piece server plate 2.25". The box is 6.5" across and the thickness is 1.75". The paint is full only minor loss mostly to the gold trim. Has some soil/age pick up but not dingy. The fabric has aged and has some soiling. There is also a small section of tear off to the bottom fabric near the latch side. A count of three real chips on the pieces, one of each of the saucer edge, and one of the back of the tea pot top edge near the handle. All three shown in the close ups. There is some flea bites and some flakes but no other major chips found the two on the saucer are very small, the tea pot most noticeable but its still not major in my opinion. I found a few small hairlines mostly on the saucers. And on the sugar bowl(I believe that is what that piece is glued down) the side center there is a puffy little shiny area in the glaze I am not sure if that is just a factory error or if that is a repair. I can not fully examine the piece because its glued down. Its minor but I wanted to point it out. Only piece with a lid is the tea pot not sure if any of the other came with a lid. The outer box tarnish to the metal parts. Latch in working order so are the hinges open and locks just fine. There is some loss to the oil cloth like material mostly on the corner edges shown in the close up. The pieces have cardboard stuck on the bottom to the glue some of inner cardboard has loss in the form of scuff offs from the pieces listing. All flaws shown in the photos pictures are taken in natural light so the flaws can be clearly seen.

I unfortunately had to change my handling time to 4 to 5 business days. I still ship quickly. However with the current condition of the post office and the slow down of the mail they are already holding packages for several days without any tracking scan acknowledgements. Please note I stay on top of all tracking numbers and I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause in this frustrating situation. I just want my customers to know there will be delivery delays.
