This handy cable allows you to program your Icom radio with 2.5mm jack DATA socket from your computer. Replaces Icom cable OPC-2218LU.

One end of the cable has a 2.5mm stereo jack plug which connects to the DATA socket on the radio. The other end has a USB plug which connects to the PC's USB port. The cable contains a USB to serial converter, so the radio appears as a COM port on the PC.

On hand-held radios, please make sure you use the DATA socket, not similar sized the MIC socket. If the radio transmits when you plug the cable in, you are using the wrong socket!
