Sturdily made using high quality components, this cable connects your Heil or other studio microphone (with 3 pin XLR) to your Yaesu transceiver (with 8 pin round microphone connector).

Specially produced for FT-950, FT-1000mkV, FT-2000, FT-dx3000, FTdx-5000, FTdx-9000 (late models). For all other radios, please use the standard cable.

Because of the somewhat eccentric design of the microphone inputs of these transceivers, they can be prone to RF feedback, hum and noise if used with standard microphone cables. This cable is wired to help prevent such problems.
