A robust, high quality microphone, brand new and individually tested before despatch.
Unlike the original microphone which has a right-angled plug, this replacement has a straight connector which works equally well with or without the plastic microphone socket cover (often missing on second-hand radios). Using the original microphone without the cover pulls the connector at an angle and places a lot of strain on the thinnest part of the cable.
