Beautiful one-of-a-kind handcrafted wool felted lamb fleece area rug,throw blanket, wall art, chair or crib cover, car seat cover, dog bed cover, photo prop..etc.
The rug has 3 natural not painted  colors combination :cappuccino light brown, grey,beige soft caramel 6" long locks. 
Other side is felted merino wool 29"x22".
Rug is super soft, with tons of character and curls locks and very light weight, so it can be use as throw or blanket.
Wet felted by hand from warmest Border Leicester fleece and sheep merino wool. 
Felted fleece rug looks like a natural pelt,but it is a "shorn cut hair" fleece  baby and pet eco-friendly.

This is not a sheepskin, the sheep is now happily grazing at farm)) .
      Felting is a labor intensive art with each finished piece involving many hours of work (days of skirting, picking vm, washing,picking vm, drying , picking vm) and hours  and hours of felting - all done by hand! The end result is undeniably lovely and because of the hand made nature, you can be assured that no two pieces will ever be the same (in fact, a sheep's fleece will always grow back in with subtle differences from year to year) - thus assuring you of original and functional art for your home.
The fleece is natural repellent of dirt and water, great heat and cold insulator and easy to take care off, just need occasionally  shake , but if you think rug needs a bath, it is easy as hair wash.
  Hand warm like head wash (more like soaking not to much rubbing)and  same temperature rinse recommended with use your hair shampoo with hair conditioner rinse. They like human hair the fleece locks needs to be pampered :).
 Squeeze the water(do not twist), roll in dry  towels, shake and laid or hang to dry. Or dry clean.
