Welcome. This Vintage Silver Damask lame Sheath dress is a jewel.  Paper thin, sexy, elegant, chic, classic.  You name it, this is it.  Simple yet so sophisticated.  Figure hugging, super lightweight  (6 oz)! and paper thin,  like wearing next to nothing.

This dress does not have any stains or holes, but it does need some fairly basic attention for a second life..

The lining needs to have a seam re-sewn and a small section of the hem lining is down and has shredded at the edge a bit.. A section of the dress side seam needs to be resewn.

Also, this dress has been cinched in on the sides from under the arm to around the waist..  No fabric was cut, it was just folded in so, opening this up is also an easy fix.

The long metal back zipper works well.  The dress is free of stains and holes.  The fabric at the shoulders shows wear.

This dress is shown on a mannequin that measures 33-24-34, but that is with the cinched in side seams.

This dress does not have any size tags or maker's label.. Only a tag saying it is of imported fabric.

The measurements point to a dress that is approx . a size 6. with a 34-28- 38 approx figure.

I've turned this inside out to measure which incorporates the small seam sections that are  basted.

Seam to seam across bust is 17" or 34" bust.

Waist is approx 14 or 15" across seam to seam.

Hips are 19-20" seam to seam.
