ALTHOUGH AT FIRST GLANCE THIS LOOKS LIKE A PUKKA F2 CAR THE CHASSIS PLATE WAS 71-69-FB5 INDICATING THAT THIS IS A 1971 FORMULA B CAR. FORMULA B WAS VERY POPULAR IN CANADA AS A CLOSE SUBSTITUTE FOR F2 USING 1600CC PRODUCTION-BASED ENGINES AND VERY SIMILAR CHASSIS. THE JIM RUSSELL RACING TEAM OF JACQUES COUTURE AND DAVE MCCONNELL CLEANED THE 1971 CHAMPIONSHIP UP 1-2 SO MAYBE THIS COULD BE ONE OF THEIR CARS.
