Telecaster® / Esquire® Vintage '52 Type "Pat.Pend." Bridge Plate with Hybrid Double Notches on the Upper & Lower Flanges, and also Modified for use with a Bigsby B5 Vibrato.
This Hybrid Plate gives you the Best Balance of Picking Clearance and Tone.
This is a Standard Fender 50's Style Chrome Bridge Plate that fits all Vintage & Classic 50's,60's, 70's, 80's and on up to current Reissues, MIM, CIJ, MIK, MIJ, Squier Classic Vibe's, Highway One's®,Deluxe Nashville's, Classic Player Baja's and the new American Special, with (4) mounting screw holes and "Strings thru Body". NOTE: Does not fit the American Standard or American Deluxe. This Bridge Plate is also a perfect fit on the Peavey Omniac. The Screw Spread Dimension is 2-9/16" center to center to the (2) outer-most holes. The String Spread Dimension is the Standard 2-1/8 inches "E" to "E".
The Bridge Plate is modified by "Notching" the Upper and Lower Flanges for right hand picking clearance near the Bridge Pickup. This Mod eliminates the parts of the bridge that you've been catching your pick on, or banging your knuckles on, but keeps as much of the “Tone Ring” as possible to maintain that Tele® sound. The Notched-Areas are then polished mirror smooth to match the rest of the Bridge Plate.
The Bridge Plate has also been modified by adding a set of (4) Notches to the rear wall of your New Bridge Plate to provide clearance for your strings coming out of a Bigsby Vibrato.
This Bridge Plate will accept any Stock or "Aftermarket" 3-pc. Saddle Set.
"If you like the tone of the great Tele® pickers like Danny Gatton and Roy Buchanan, you need a three-saddle bridge. Nothing else matches the sustain and tone achieved, as when the multiplied forces of two strings per saddle are applied."
Mounting screws are not included. An instruction sheet on how to re-set your intonation is in the package.
I get so many requests to add (2) extra mounting holes to the "Front" end of the Bridge. This is an option that you can add to your new Bridge or Bridge Plate at the time of ordering by purchasing that option in my ebay store.
