We present a super quality portrait study of a cat, seated among sunflowers.  The work appears unsigned but is dedicated to a relative, presumably by the artist, in an inscription to the frame’ verso, also appears signed and dated 97, for 1997.  We have not identified the artist further – a splendid characterful study in pastel paints.
