Train Crazy goes in search of the longest and heaviest freight trains currently operating in the UK. Filmed in association with Freightmaster, the story begins in South Wales at the Freightmaster Hotspots around Severn Tunnel Junction and Newport and on to Westbury, Crewe, Beatock Summit, various locations in Scotland, amazing footage from Barnetby, then Stowmarket, Ipswich and Trimley plus numerous other places.
Once again, there is a staggering number of different trains featured including coal, steel, stone, ballast, mail, intermodal, iron ore, tanks, box wagons, liners, enterprise, departmental, RHTTs and much more.
Locos include a class 09 plus class 20, 31, 37, 47, 56, 57, 59, numerous 60s, all five different 66s and various electrics and dozens of different wagon types.
Also included are the new class 66/3s, 60074 in blue, 66623 in Bardon blue, 47s and 57s on Water Cannon trains, a pair of Class 20s on an Observation Saloon, a class 31 propelled DBSO coach and the ultimate in a colour clash: pink 31601 towing yellow 43013!
With a running time of TWO HOURS, this programme is professionally filmed in 16:9 widescreen for maximum viewing pleasure and with a stereo soundtrack, stunning close ups, big zooms and an informative commentary, Big Freight 4 is a must for anybody following the current freight scene in the UK.
