Hot Melt Film Adhesive is such a material which will melt when heated,and will become solid when it is cool, it can be heated several times, and used to adhere two component materials together solid, non-shrinking, non-toxic.

For embroidery patch or other garment.

Cut Hot Melt Adhesive Film according to the size of embroidery patch, then put the cut Hot Melt Adhesive Film on the clothes, then cover embroidery patch, at this time you  had better cover a sheet of vellum paper, as last, use household/domestic iron on a medium setting, applying  pressure as you go.

For Wood Veneer Laminate 

Peel the backing paper off, and place the film between your groundwork and veneer. Lay the backing paper over the surface of the veneer to protect it from the direct heat of  the iron, and then simply melt the glue with a  household/domestic iron on a medium setting, applying  pressure as you go.

Glue Film has the advantage that by re-warming, the glue will soften, in the event that you may need to remove a  bubble or reposition the veneer.

Alternatively, you can produce your own iron-on veneers. Iron your Glue Film onto the back of your veneer, let it cool, then cut to the required size. Then iron onto your groundwork.
