The PoE kit Includes an 8-port 6PoE 10/100Mbps-T Ethernet passive (unsolicited) PoE switch and six PoE splitters with DC buck to power non-PoE devices. Please refer to the following photos for usage:
This kit does not include a power adapter. You can use any power supply between DC18V and 55V to connect it, but pay attention to the power output polarity [inside positive (+), outside negative (-)],the power input socket on the switch should be suitable for DC Port of size 5.5x2.1mm. and whether the output power is enough for IP CAMERAS to use.
The POE splitter of this kit integrates an 18V~60V DC Buck converter,plus the wide voltage passive POE switch is capable of inputting DC12V~55V,so DC18V~55V power adapter is allowed to power the POE switch of this kit,if condition is permitted,we recommend inputting higher voltage(DC48V~55V)to reduce power loss in the network cable, thereby allowing longer network cable or improving the power supply environment of the device,especially the network cable is extremely long.
Some suggestions of selecting power adapters for this POE kit.
1.please use at least 18V power adapter when the network cable length is not more than30 meters.
2.Please use at least 24V power adapter when the network cable length is not more than 50 meters.
3. The network cable is more than 50 meters in length. It is recommended to use 48V-55V power adapter.
4.If you judge the network cable in poor quality,try your best to increase the input voltage to make the power supply system work normally,but do not exceed DC55V.
Please be noticed that there are following disadvantages of other 12V or 15V low voltage POE solutions:
1.The low voltage transmission in the network cable cause voltage actually supplied to the camera to be too low due to the large resistance, resulting in insufficient power supply of the camera, unstable operation, crash, etc.
2.Due to the large resistance of the low voltage on the network,the length of the network cable is generally limited to less 30meters.
3.The poor network cable quality can cause the power supply shortage.

The DC Buck passive PoE Splitter. with following function:
1,Transfer the data signal input from RJ45 socket 1236pins via the other side RJ45 connector to the IP camera.
2,Transfering the DC18-60V power input from RJ45 socket 4578pins(45+, 78-) which the voltage will be lowered to 12V,then through the other side DC port(5.5 x 2.1 mm) into the IP camera.
