George Cutter was president of the Elgin Watch Co.

Half page from an original 19th century copy of the American Architect and Building News, a very low circulation industry periodical.  One-sided.  Page measures about 9 inches wide. 

These pages were removed from their original binding decades ago and stored in a box.  They might have a little edge damage but there is wide enough margin to assure a beautiful presentation once it is matted and framed.  See scan for condition details.

Each of these heliotypes are a rare look at the regional styles of the late 19th century, all rendered with an architect's precision.

Recently discovered in a local North Carolina estate.
