Celadon is a name of a character in the 17th century; French pastoral play by L'Astree.  Caladon was a shepherd whose costume

was decorated  with ribbons of greyish and green and the colors became synonimous with L'Astree.

By the 19th century the term began to appear in European literature on Chinese ceramics and was used to describe green or bluish

porcelain ware.

I lived in Indonesia in the 1970's and took a fancy to porcelain . The Museum Pasat,
in Jakarta, Indonesia authenticated my porcelain. Thank you for stopping by. Terima Kashi
