Japanese Wooden bowl with red lacquer finish on the outside and gold interior with hand painted scene.  Measures 4 3/4" diameter x 2" deep.  Good condition - minor gilt loss consistent with age - does not detract.  Please view our other auctions for a matching bowl with different painting.
