Exquisite vintage, hard-to-find 30's handpainted Swinnertons England Hampton Ivory "Lilac Time" serving bowl that features charming Victorian crinoline ladies in various scenes all featuring lilac bushes and flowers. This bowl is especially enchanting with its fine green handpainted trim and brilliant colors on lovely ivory china. There is crazing due to its age. There is a tiny chip in the paint on the lip, see picture. It measures 9X9" rim to rim and is 2 1/2" deep.
