Here we have a great poster issued during 2011 in commemoration of the Battle of Midway, fought June 4-7, 1942. The U.S. Navy effectively destroyed Japan’s naval strength by sinking four of its aircraft carriers. It is considered one of the most important naval battles of World War II. This is one of a set of posters for a Battle Of Midway remembrance dinner which were created by Sailors assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Our posters are shipped in sturdy mailing tubes, fully insured!

This poster is printed on heavy, 230 gsm (10 pt cover), premium matte art paper. Posters are centered on full sized paper to accommodate readily available frames or custom matting. The image size refers specifically to the artwork itself, not the size of the paper it is printed on. Therefore, the paper size is always larger than the image size. All posters have a minimum 1/4" white border and are shipped in sturdy mailing tubes, fully insured.
