This is the full GKL Products Hinge Doctor notched set for commercial and residential hinges. Includes HA1D, HA3D and HA4D for commercial hinges, and HA2 Hulk for many residential hinges.

How to use commercial Hinge Doctors: 

Method 1: Close the door, slip the correct Hinge Doctor tool over the top hinge. Slowly open the door 3-4" more, after feeling resistance. Close the door, remove the Hinge Doctor tool. Check the door, to see if everything is working correctly. On occasion, you'll have to repeat it again, or use the same process on the middle hinge. It is rare to have a problem with the bottom hinge.

Method 2: Close the door, slip the correct Hinge Doctor tool over the top hinge. Use an adjustable wrench, fitting it on the notch in the new Hinge Doctor tool. Apply moderate pressure, as described in the instructions. Remove tool, and check door. If necessary, repeat.

These tools work for most sizes of hinges, residential, commercial and institutional/prison hinges. Please make sure you use the right tool for the right hinge. If the Hinge Doctor fits too loosely over the knuckle of the hinge, try the next size up Hinge Doctor. Using the wrong size Hinge Doctor tool may ruin it. Please refer to the "What Size of Hinge Doctor" graphic for specific knuckle measurements. Includes free custom fitted storage case, so you keep your tools together and protected, too.
