An interesting paper embosser on stand, it is very heavy made from cast iron or stainless steel or similar.  It has a historical connection with one of the grand homes of New Zealand, the name doesn't show up on plain white paper but I tried it with carbon paper and it showed clearly, it embosses OLVESTON, WERE STREET,  BRIGHTON BEACH my research shows it to be from the house there. The base measures approx'y 12cm by 6cm and it is approx'y 18cm high. There is an old green piece of material on the base to stop it from scratching and some of the gold decoration is missing, please zoom into photographs.  This weighs approx'y 1.6 Kilogram, I will ship this to New Zealand it would be approx'y $55, please confirm if you are interested. Olveston is a fabulous home generously donated by the owner for the enjoyment of the people of Dunedin and visitors, of which I have been one!
