Plastic cover slides in place over the metal bead breaker / side shovel reducing the chance for damage to the wheel rim caused by metal to metal contact with the side shovel.

PLEASE NOTE:  This cover will fit some models better than others.  Cover will seem grossly oversized on some models.  This is the way that Coats has chosen to design this part, so it fits as many of their tire changers as possible.  When you order this part from Coats they send a tube of rubber cement type glue with the cover and suggest gluing the cover on (because they fit most machines so poorly).  Our cover DOES NOT include a tube of glue.  Our covers are the same shape and size as the O.E. design and fit as poorly as the O.E. covers, guaranteed!
